University of Westminster

Starting a postgraduate degree program came to my mind once after I started working in the industry. Then in 2019 I enrolled for Master of Science in Advanced Software Engineering degree program which is conducted by Information Institute of Technology(IIT) in collaboration with University of Westminster, UK. IIT is a private higher education institute in Sri Lanka which offers specialized offshore British degree programmes in IT and Business. IIT has collaborated with British universities to offer undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in Sri Lanka since its inception in 1990. IIT has produced over 3000 graduates that are spread across the globe. The institute is currently located in Colombo 6 and consists of nearly 4000 students. I was able to complete this postgraduate degree and graduate on 2021.

University of Colombo School of Computing

After passing GCE A/Ls with 2As and 1B in Maths Stream in 2013, I was lucky enough to get selected to University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC). It is a higher educational affiliate institute providing undergraduate and postgraduate education in Computer Science, Information Systems and Information and Communication Technology. The UCSC was formed on 1 September 2002 with the argumentation of the Department of Computer Science of the Faculty of Science of the University of Colombo and the Institute of Computer Technology by Professor V.K. Samaranayake. This educational center includes  an Advanced Digital Media Technology Centre, a Computer Services Centre, a Digital Forensic Centre, an e-Learning Centre, an External Degrees Centre, and a Professional Development Centre. I graduated from this university in 2017, completing my bachelor degree of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

Rahula College, Matara

Rahula College is a boys’ school in, Sri Lanka located in Matara district. Though it was originally a private Buddhist school, now it is run by the Government of Sri Lanka as a National School. Rahula College has two sections – the Primary section, which serves students from Grade 1 to Grade 5, and the Secondary section, which serves students from Grade 6 to Grade 13. I was admitted to Rahula College after passing grade 5 Scholarship Exam in 2004. There after I studied for GCE O/Ls and GCE A/Ls at this college which remained unforgettable memories of my life.
